Fire Remediation
EBCC delivers comprehensive fire remediation services to help buildings meet current fire safety regulations and protect lives, property, and reputation. From initial investigation to full compliance, we work with insurers, developers, housing providers, and building owners to assess risk, rectify issues, and restore safety across both occupied and unoccupied buildings.
Our team specialises in passive fire protection, which includes the installation and reinstatement of critical fire-stopping measures such as fire-resistant barriers, fire doors, cavity barriers, compartmentation, and service penetrations. All installations are carried out in strict accordance with building regulations and third-party accredited systems, ensuring long-term compliance and traceability.
We also carry out cladding remediation and replacement, particularly on buildings affected by post-Grenfell fire safety legislation. Our experts assess existing cladding systems for combustibility and compliance, then manage the full removal and replacement process using certified, non-combustible materials. We act as both principal contractor and project manager, handling design, procurement, and coordination of specialist trades under CDM regulations.
EBCC combines deep technical knowledge with on-the-ground experience to deliver fire safety solutions that are robust, auditable, and tailored to the building's specific needs. Whether addressing a single fire-stopping issue or leading a full-scale remediation project, we provide clients with clear communication, full compliance, and peace of mind from start to finish.

Passive Fire & Door Inspection
EBCC provides thorough Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Fire Door Inspections to ensure buildings meet current fire safety legislation and perform as intended in the event of a fire. These inspections are critical for identifying compliance failures and ensuring the integrity of fire compartments within residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.
Our passive fire inspections focus on the elements that are built into the fabric of a structure, such as fire-stopping around service penetrations, cavity barriers, compartment walls, floors, and ceilings. We assess whether these systems have been correctly installed, maintained, and documented. All findings are recorded with photographic evidence and mapped for easy reference in compliance audits or future remediation.
We also carry out fire door inspections in accordance with the latest industry guidance and regulatory requirements. This includes checking certification, frame and leaf condition, gaps and seals, hinges, closers, signage, and functionality. Each door is assessed to ensure it performs to its rated fire resistance and is suitable for its location and use.
All inspections are conducted by trained and qualified fire professionals, with clear, actionable reporting that highlights non-compliance, levels of risk, and remedial recommendations. We work closely with property managers, landlords, housing associations, and developers to ensure their buildings are not just compliant, but safe.
With EBCC, you get more than a tick-box inspection; you get real insight, real accountability, and a trusted partner in fire safety compliance.
